Melting soap base and opaque white casting - SLS free
Melt and pour the soap base
Opaque white - Without SLS
This is the classic opaque white soap base, but without SLS! This melt-and-pour soap base is a vegetable glycerin-based soap that is a perfect blank canvas - a starting point for so many great recipes.
Soft and nourishing, this soap base has a light and stable lather and leaves the skin hydrated and cleansed.
The neutral scent and color of this soap base really lends itself to a huge range of recipes, your imagination is the only limit.
Take the soap base out of the package and slowly melt in a double boiler or microwave. Be careful not to boil the soap base - it will end in disaster and leave you with a lot less soap than when you started! Once melted, add the colors and flavors of your choice and pour into a mold. Let cool and, once it has hardened, remove it from the molds and wrap them in plastic wrap to prevent shrinkage and water loss.
